BeyondEDM back with a great new dj mix set of house music and techno from Greeensboro, NC native Aline Nunez. He hosts a monthly radio show on ETN.FM on the first Friday of the month called Dub Sessions. This hour long mix of some of his own productions, as well as choice tracks from house music and techno producers, is a seamless journey through the underground side of electronic dance music.

A little more about Aline from his website:

“Aline Nunez is a DJ and producer from Greensboro NC ,hailing originally
from the Peru . He started his Dj career in the United States in 2002 , establishing his first residency in Greensboro’s 5th Season Night Club where he learned and perfected the art of beat matching ,

Later on in 2003 he made appearances in many Greensboro Night Clubs, playing Progressive
House which, back in that time, was becoming very popular in the U.S. Places like the Sofa Bar ,Blue Hour, Solaris and many other Bars that promoted House Music in Greensboro, were the perfect place for Aline to meet people with the same taste of Music. In 2004 he purchased his first midi controller and started to learn Music Production on his own.”

BeyondEDM has a new mix of techno, house music and funk from a veteran Carolina DJ, Mark Sonar of the Allform crew of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. For Mark, “Music Is Love. Techno, House, Drum and Bass, Breaks, Trance, Hip Hop, Dubstep, Ambient…It ALL moves me”. You can definitely hear this in his mixes and his enthusiasm behind the decks when he plays live shows this as well.

This edition of the BeyondEDM podcast features Mark Kane. During his time in North Carolina he promoted and played at Radiance in Chapel Hill, which would become NC’s longest running weekly electronic dance music event.

Beginning his career in the mid 90’s, the native New Yorker has built a solid reputation among promoters and club-goers alike for bringing world class mixing and the best, but not necessarily most well known, tracks to the dance floor. His blend of tough and gritty house with sexy techno has helped him quickly emerge from the depths of US scene.

Now residing in Los Angeles, he regularly plays the largest clubs there, like his recent opening set for Juicy Records head honcho Robbie Riveria. Check the BeyondEDM podcast regularly for new music from some of the world’s finest EDM producers and DJ’s.

This edition of the BeyondEDM podcast is a Classic Mix special. We reached far back into the vault for this special live recording from the mid 90′s from our very own founding Hypersonic member DJ HUE. This set was recorded live at our Electrophunk party featuring Terry Mullan. Hue’s set picked up where the previous DJ left off with some proper electro records. His set then progressed through acid house, techno and peaked with some hardcore leaving the crowd hyped and on edge for the headliner Terry Mullan to take over and drive them wild. You will hear Terry’s opening records and a few minutes of his set. His trademark Chicago acid house sound and phenomenal scratching skills sent a sold out Club Zero crowd, nearly 2000 strong, home with big smiles and few sore muscles that morning.
